Ujima re-fresh was birthed from the frustration of having to leave the neighborhood to access fresh pressed juices and other healthy food options. An assignment for an MBA class turned into a concrete plan, which lead to the participation in an incubator. Ujima began to sprout while participating in the Cleveland Culinary Launch Kitchen's food business incubator. While there we began to test recipes and conduct market research with neighbors to determine what flavors would resonate with residents.
Ujima re-fresh,llc was birthed in frustration but persists in power and vision towards a more sustainable neighborhood. We aim to contribute to neighborhood sustainability by providing neighbors with access to healthy food options and alternatives. Additionally, we seek to create place and space for fellowship, connection, and intentional relationships.
Juices, smoothies, and other foods may be our medium, but we are motivated by our passion and commitment to nourishing bodies & refreshing communities.
